The University of Melbourne is an Australian public research institution in Melbourne, Victoria. Established in 1853, it is Australia’s second-oldest university.

There are six campuses in total, with the main campus situated in Parkville, a Melbourne suburb. Ten colleges are located on the main campus and in the surrounding suburbs.

In its six campus apartments and three districts, University of Melbourne offers foreign students the opportunity to live and study there. About 70% of applicants are accepted at the University of Melbourne. There are now over 54,000 students enrolled at the university. More than 26,750 of them are enrolled in undergraduate programmes, while more than 22,540 are graduate students.
